Weight Management

Obesity is the number one health problem faced by pets today. Obesity contributes to many preventable life-threatening diseases such as diabetes mellitus, arthritis, heart disease and high blood pressure. Clinical studies confirm the lifespan of an overweight pet is shortened by at least 2 years, and that approximately 40% of dogs and cats are overweight.

Overweight pets often suffer from joint problems and pain, and when not addressed, can lead to extensive health problems, extreme pain and might need surgical intervention to extend the life of the animal. We are here to guide and support you and your pet to healthy feeding and management.

We offer supportive obesity and weight management programs tailored to your pet. Our weight management support service is offered both online and In Person*, and includes a patient and diet assessment, with recommendations.
